Liked your thoughts until the last line. I totally agree with the “let’s stop looking for others to make us whole.” However, all of us, gay or straight, are way too screwed up to find salvation within. We desire perfection. We are miles away from that.

Congrats on the upgrade. I’m certain it will be worth the wait. I’ve always enjoyed the fact that you choose to bring Wichita a bounty of substance laced with a wicked kind of spice. It is far from being a dirty little pleasure to see who went where with whom. I recently read an article about ascension and it mentioned that doing nothing is far more commendable than doing something… if even only a small portion of its merit is for the perceived recognition it may garner for a group or individual. To me, it seems too many others in this city prefer the latter. This year, according to many yet disbelieved by even more, will usher in a greater sense of spirituality and awareness. In its path it will leave behind the materialism society seems to worship and a realization of the useless envy and praise placed at its feet which wears the latest Jimmy Choo heels. It will be a pleasure to stand by someone who obviously already ahead of the time. Thanks Carrie!

Just ignore the ignorant…it’s all just jealousy! Naked City speaks to the rhythm and heartbeat of Wichita…it’s only growing stronger…with all the amazing people working for them…this year of transformation will be nothing short of pure magic. I am thankful that such a wonderful print magazine still exists.

No other magazine in the Wichita area captures the pulse of the city like Naked City Magazine. I have seen quite a few try but they are always lacking something. May be it’s the passion, blood, sweat, and tears that Carrie and her team have given. After being a Wichita staple for 5 years now I am excited to see Naked City transform into something greater than before and help Wichita take that next step we need to become the great city we can be. Thank you, Carrie and team for your dedication, hard work, and perseverance. This city would not be the same without you. I am looking forward to many more years of reading your magazine.

i don’t know what’s up “captain obvious’s” butt, but it’s obvious he’s some internet troll with the maturity of a seventh grader with a grudge. i love both the magazine and the gallery, and i think wichita is a much richer and art-filled place with both of them blossoming. keep up the good work, carrie and all the rest! i’d like to see captain poppypants do better! it’s so much easier to tear down someone’s efforts than to contribute to them!
